Overview

Emergencies are an unfortunate fact of life, and come in many forms. They also create chaos. The ability to instantly communicate with your school community may make the difference in an emergency or simply make a busy day a whole lot easier.

Our emergency alerts platform helps put order to that chaos by allowing you to establish contact with parents, faculty, emergency contacts and students. You can quickly send one message from your own mobile phone or from our web-based command center. There is no software to install. It is easy to use and could ultimately save lives.

Cellular networks are the last line of communication to go down due to extraordinary bandwidth requirements when call volume explodes due to large emergencies. Even so, because text messages require even less bandwidth than a standard cellular call (much less) they are often not held up at all except in the most extreme cases, and then are simply delayed. Phone trees are only as good as the last person reached. Email is often not checked for hours. Voice mails to landlines are often not checked for hours after an incident (especially if power's out).

Text messaging is the most reliable and instant form of communication in an emergency.
